Insta-Gator Ranch and Hatchery

The whole second grade went on a field trip to the alligator farm in Covington. This was our first time going...but wont be our last. They were so informative. I learned sooo much about alligators...things that actually are facinating!! Kase enjoyed his visit...and even wants us to buy him an alligator......yeah....I don't think so!!

Trunk or Treat

The kids went to the LES trunk or treat Thursday. I worked Wednesday night...so Keith had the kids....and this is what they came as....they kinda just made up their own. Coby was a GI Joe who was bitten by a Vampire....Kaitlyn really wasnt anything in particular....and Kase was a Zombie hunter....LOL...oh well they had a blast and got to see lots of their friends!!

Cub Scouts Halloween Party

The boys had a Halloween Party with cub scouts this week. They each entered a pumpkin into the pumpkin carving/coloring contest! Here they are finishing off there designs!!

They played lots of games....and each one took place in the pumpkin contest. Coby placed 1st in his division and Kase placed 2nd in his division. After all the games...we had hot dogs and lots of sweets and candy!! :)

I dog sat while Keith was away with the boys at their Cub Scouts Camping Trip! He is soo bad...and spoiled...he looks it too!! LOL

Guitar Lessons

Kaitlyn has started taking guitar lessons every Tuesday. She has really caught on...and enjoys going. I can't wait till she is able to just pick up a guitar and start playing!!

Field Trip, Parade....and Bubbles

Kaitlyn had a school field trip on Thursday. She went watch an orchestra perform. She has been learning about all the different musical 'families' that the instruments are in.....there was even a touch and tell before the concert....where the students got to explore the instruments up close!! Here she is with Isabelle and Joselyn....her BFF's!!

The kids at the fair parade on Friday. They got LOTs of candy...some cups...and a few keepsakes. Kaitlyn hit her head on Keith's truck when she bent over to get some candy....so we spent the last 5 mins. in the truck with ice on her head.....she wasnt happy when she found out the parade was over...but once she seen that they boys were still collecting stuff for her....she was happy again....!

This morning...Coby was up...bright and early. First thing after he ate...he had to play with the cats....then he colored on the stepping stones with chalk....then it was time for bubbles. I really don't know where he gets all his energy from....I was tired just watching...and it wasnt even 11Am yet....LOL

We went to the fair this afternoon....so I will post those pics soon. I think the kids favorites were the Fun Slide...where you slide on old burlap sacks, the mini dinosaur roller coaster...and the bumper cars. They rode lots more....they just wanted to ride these over and over...and over again....!!!

Everyone is doing well....Kase is alot better.....we go back to the doctor this week....hopefully it will be a clean bill of health for him. The first 6 weeks ended....so report cards will be coming soon!!! The are getting ready for Halloween....they want to wear their costumes to play in....isnt a child's imagination....wonderful!!!
