There is just not enough hours in the day to get everything done....LOL This month was busy for all of us....with me working, birthday parties and homework! The kids are doing well in school. The kids are on a routine...which helps with getting ready in the morning and going to bed at night. I am looking forward to FALL.....turning leaves, cooler weather, the holidays.....I love everything about it!
I went to a scrap convention over the weekend. It was a nice break from all the chaos that I endure on a weekly basis. :) I was able to compete 15 LO's...which was awesome because I am almost caught up for the year......my goal is to be completed and caught up before Halloween.
I met some ladies from Thibodaux (Vera, Megan, and Mandy) while at Scrapfest. We were all sitting at the same table. They were so nice and helpful. I plan to go scrap one Sat with them at Scrapalicious in Thibodaux. Maybe we can even catch up with each other at another convention sometime.
ETA: Its been one year since I lost a friend of mine from nursing school...her name was Brandy Corkern. She was a wife and mother of 2. I still think about her and miss her alot. She would have been a great nurse, if GOD had not called her home. I will never forget her or the kind person she was!! R.I.P Brandy....we will see each other again someday!!!

I am Brandy's 1st cousin Becky Blount. I miss her greatly too everyday. She was like the sister I never had and my best friend. Yes, I agree she would have been a great nurse too! I am looking for some pictures of her to make a collage. Do you think you or someone you know may have some of her that I could get my hands on from nursing school. I would greatly appreciate it!
