Coby just came to me and said..."mom, I like being sick. Not the throwing up kind of sick, but the running fever and getting to stay home kinda sick"!!

...its Coby's turn.....
This time its Coby. Kase no longer has the fever...just a cough. But this morning Coby woke up...and was running a temp of 100.8.....so here we go again. He loves that he get to stay home. He has been saying everyday he is a 'little' sick...so he should stay too. I kept telling him that you have to be 'alot' of sick before you can stay home. I guess he got his wish....LOL!!! But really knock on wood...Coby doesnt really get sick...or he only gets mildly sick....so I guess it was his turn. It's been raining since yesterday...so the weather is nasty...but so-so warm....so that isn't helping. It was 23 on Saturday.
Nothing else going on with us...just trying to clean and get the house in order...get Chelsea back into her room. I have to move my scrap stuff out....so I am trying to rearrange my room to make 'room'....but just havent had the 'want' too...LOL~ Hopefully the kids will be better by weeks end and we can all do something as a family.
I have on my TO DO list...as #1...to get there pics made together. They havent had professional pics of them together since 2008....so its time. I am going to see if Brandy's cousin Becky Blount will do them. I will keep you posted!!

What a week!!!
I swear if this weather doesnt make up its mind!!! I wish it would either get warm and stay warm....or be cold and stay cold. This back and forth sucks!!
Kase has been running a fever of 102.9 since Thursday. He has moments where he feels 'OK' but he mainly just lays around watching TV. He went to the doctor yesterday and he has the FLU...again. I guess I am happy its JUST the flu and not pneumonia AGAIN too! Well plenty of fluids, vitamins, and rest and hopefully he will be back on his feet for Monday!! I know he has NO choice but to miss school...but I really hate that he is missing again....he has already missed 2 whole weeks because of the pnuemonia he had in October. I am just going to pray that everything turns ok...thats all I can do.
Chelsea start back to LHS yesterday. She was nervous I could tell...I am sure everyone is...until you get into a routine. She had lots of people tell her they missed her...and loved that she was back. I hope this make her feel loved...because she is...she just needs to see it. She LOVES her classes. She said she has some 'really' cool teachers. I hope this helps her relax...and get the grades she needs to get all her credits. We found out that if she passes everything this semester....she only needs 2 credits to graduate!! YEAH!! I told her...can you SMELL IT??? She laughed...and said...a little. I will have to ask her again in May...!!
We met with Meg on Wednesday and ate lunch at carreta's. Meg was soo happy to see her back. She is in the process of buying a house...so she told chelsea when its all finalized...she can come stay with her. I hope this will help chelsea get out of her slump and want to enjoy LIFE!!
Well thats about it....I work this weekend....but its pretty slow there...so it shouldnt be to bad. I know I will still be tired....but I cleaned house yesterday...really good...so all I have to do it sleep!!!

It's COLD outside
...I think its like 23 degrees...too damn cold if you ask me. We have been having these cold spells for a few days....and then tomorrow it will be in the 60's again. I am trying to fight off a small cold. The kids woke up with the sniffles. But other than that...life is good. I have been decorating for V-day. So if you walk into my house...you will see LoVe!!
I am in the process of making the kids some headboards for their beds. I found some simple to follow plans online...and bought the wood yesterday. I am just waiting on a decent day to get outside and start the building process. I love crafts, art, decorating and exploring new areas....but this will be my first adventure in actually building something from scratch. I have no doubt that I can do it. I am excited to see the finished product!!
We have Kaitlyn's Cookie Rally today with girl scouts. The boys are going with us...so we shall see if I have any hair left when we get home.

Bringing in the NEW YEAR
The kids had a blast popping fireworks Saturday........and when we came in...the party didnt stop!! We had inside fireworks (aka Poppers) as well!! :) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year
Well here we are....2011! The kids and I hung out at home...until dark then we popped some fireworks. Nothing too big...but enough to keep the kids entertained for about an hour.
It has turned cold once again....was in the 70's on Wednesday!! I am faithfully giving the kids their vitamins in hopes that they don't catch any bugs when they return to school next week!!
Speaking of next week...school will resume for the kidos on the 4th...(I can't wait)...though I have loooved my time at home with them...it is much easier sleeping during the day without kids at home...KWIM?? The kids are ready too...they don't get to see many friends when they are out of school!!
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will start back up next week too....so we should be pretty busy! Our next BIG holiday will be Mardi Gras...more parades and King Cakes!!
